Cultivation

CONSTANT CARE

Frantoio Galantino is just outside Bisceglie, in the heart of Puglia. Here it cultivates several hectares of centuries-old olive groves with modern irrigation systems and environmentally friendly cultivation techniques. Annual pruning and constant care of the trees ensure olives of the highest quality.

Collection

THE RIGHT TIME

The olives are harvested by hand plucking on cloths or with modern facilitators, at the right degree of ripeness, from October 15 to December 31, to ensure a high polyphenol content and perfect taste. The olives are immediately transported to the mill, to be ground within a few hours.

Milling

THE TASTE OF TRADITION

Washing, crushing with stone grinders and cold centrifugation promote and enhance the taste and fragrance of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The oil, subjected to laboratory control and organoleptic examination, is selected and certified by the Master Oil-Maker.

Packaging

FROM THE MILLSTONE TO THE TABLE

The oil, stored in temperature-controlled underground steel tanks, is packaged in elegant dark glass bottles, cans or ceramics to keep its unmistakable taste intact.
