Orange-scented tart

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 300 g of flour
  • 80 g of powdered sugar
  • 7 g of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 400 g of strawberry jam
  • 80 g of Galantino orange extra virgin olive oil

Matching

To prepare the shortcrust pastry, place the flour in a heap, put the powdered sugar, 2 eggs, Galantino Orange Oil and baking powder in the center.

Mix the ingredients until the dough is smooth, form into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.

After the half hour has elapsed, remove the shortcrust pastry from the refrigerator and roll out a sheet about 4mm thick, leaving a
part for decorations.

Lay the pastry sheet in an oiled and floured scalloped baking dish 26 cm in diameter and spread a layer of strawberry jam on top.

With a pastry cutter, cut strips of pastry and lay them on top of the jam layer.

Using the tines of a fork, seal the edges of the strips well to the tart.

Bake the tart at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Chef's advice:

Variation: you can make the tart with another Galantino citrus oil and jam to taste.
