Orange-scented truffles

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 500 g of cream
  • 850 g of dark chocolate
  • 30 g of Galantino orange extra virgin olive oil
  • Cointreau
  • Cocoa

Pour the cream into a small saucepan, add the chocolate; when it has melted, remove it from the heat and add the Galantino orange oil and Cointreau, stirring until smooth and lump-free.

After the creamy mixture has cooled, place it in a pastry bag fitted with a smooth nozzle and form many small mounds of dough, which you will chill in the refrigerator.

Once solidified, roll them in cocoa powder.

Serve the truffles in elegant ramekins.

Chef's advice:

You can customize your truffles by topping them with any ingredient of your liking such as almonds, or chopped hazelnuts, chocolate chips, colored sprinkles.
